Sahiba K. Chowdhary
Chief Executive Officer

Sahiba Chowdhary is a co-founder of the Seva Initiative and staunch advocate of knowledge equity. Ms. Chowdhary co-founded the Seva Initiative to provide underserved children with the essential tools they need to facilitate their educational development. Her focus is on addressing disparities in education that exist in underserved communities, with a particular emphasis on gender disparity in developing countries. Ms. Chowdhary works with our volunteers and international partners to address the needs of students and ensure they have equal access to learning tools and education.

Kaser S. Chowdhary
Founder & Advisory Board

Kaser Chowdhary is currently pursuing his interests in Political Science and Economics at Stanford University. Mr. Chowdhary is committed to breaking down economic and social barriers through education. He also understands, however, that poverty and lack of infrastructure are intrinsically tied to student learning. Mr. Chowdhary’s ability to forge strategic partnerships has allowed the Seva Initiative to successfully expand its operations, and impact the lives of underserved students throughout the world.

Carmen Linares
Advisory Board

As an educator with the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District for over 22 years, Carmen Linares brings a wealth of education and leadership experience to the Seva Initiative. She currently serves as the World Language Department Chair at El Dorado High School. Mrs. Linares provides key guidance to the Seva Initiative on community engagement and outreach to developing countries.




Shana Grover, Ph.D.
Advisory Board

Dr. Grover is the Associate Chief Psychologist at BronxCare Hospital located in the South Bronx where she treats adults and children with a wide range of psychopathologies. She is also the Director of Psychological Assessment at Madison Park Psychological Services, a private practice in New York City where she conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations for the purposes of diagnostic clarity. Dr. Grover also serves as an adjunct professor at the New School in New York where she teaches psychological assessment. She advises the Seva Initiative on potential partnerships, fundraising strategy, and domestic outreach initiatives.
