Seva K. Chowdhary
Chief Executive Officer

Seva Chowdhary is the CEO of the Seva Initiative and a staunch advocate for educational equity. Her work is driven by her interest in how technology and innovation can transform the way students access education and learning resources. Through the Seva Initiative, Seva works to support underserved students while exploring new ways to use technology to connect students with the tools they need. She hopes to combine her passion for education, technology, and entrepreneurship to create solutions that make quality learning more accessible to students everywhere.




Kaser S. Chowdhary, Stanford University
Founder & Advisory Board

Kaser is committed to expanding educational opportunity and breaking down economic and social barriers. He recognizes that poverty, inadequate infrastructure, and limited access to essential resources directly affect student outcomes. Kaser’s ability to forge strategic partnerships has allowed the Seva Initiative to successfully expand its operations and impact the lives of underserved students throughout the world.

Sahiba K. Chowdhary, UC Berkeley
Founder & Advisory Board

Sahiba co-founded the Seva Initiative to provide underserved children with the essential tools they need to facilitate their educational development. Her focus is on addressing disparities in education that exist in underserved communities, with a particular emphasis on gender disparity in developing countries. Sahiba works with our volunteers and international partners to address the needs of students and ensure they have equal access to learning tools and education.

Shana Grover, Ph.D.
Advisory Board

Dr. Grover is the Associate Chief Psychologist at BronxCare Hospital located in the South Bronx where she treats adults and children with a wide range of psychopathologies. She is also the Director of Psychological Assessment at Madison Park Psychological Services, a private practice in New York City where she conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations for the purposes of diagnostic clarity. Dr. Grover also serves as an adjunct professor at the New School in New York where she teaches psychological assessment. She advises the Seva Initiative on potential partnerships, fundraising strategy, and domestic outreach initiatives.
